highlighting the natural beauty and radiance of the expectant mother.
I tell all mamas to connect with me at 12-20 weeks as it’s always best to book
your shoot 2-3 months in advance aiming for dates when you are 25-34 weeks.
However every woman’s body is different, I’ve had women do sessions at 5-6 months pregnant.
It really depends how well your bump is showing.

NEWBORN
Preserve precious memories into timeless photos to cherish always.
Ideal time for a newborn session is under 3 weeks old
to best capture their fresh tiny stage.
Depending how well recovery is going for mommy sometimes more time is needed and that's okay,
babe can be even 30 days or older with lifestyle shots.
The image styles are clean & minimal with a combination of posed & natural shots.
Included in your session is access to the Baby Closet & Minimal Props
(Variety of soft colours, textures, headpieces, basket, lush wraps, throws & blankets...)
Sessions start at 2 hours long and gives mommy that extra time for
feeding breaks, changing & calming baby.
Securing your newborn session before your little one arrives is highly recommended,
I'd suggest to book 1-3 months in advance to get in on photographer's schedule.

FULL SESSION
A 50% Non Refundable Deposit is required for full sessions to secure your time slot (Your appointment will be reserved for 1 hour, for any special offers /discounted packages a non refundable payment in full required). Kindly send a deposit or full via E-transfer to info@danamorris.ca and your spot will be reserved. Remaining balance is due on day of session. In the event a booking is cancelled with 48 hours notice a credit will be issued. You can always reschedule at a more convenient time. By hiring Dana Morris Photography, you agree to these terms.
MINI SESSION
A non-refundable payment in full is required to secure your spot (Your appointment will be reserved for 1 hour). Kindly send payment in full via E-transfer to info@danamorris.ca and your spot will be reserved.
Mini sessions are hosted on specific dates & studios. Session will start at exact time of your appointment. Must be camera ready (hair, makeup & dressed) any delays will result in your session being rushed/cancelled with no refund.
Due to the custom nature of photographic products, no refunds will be issued. In the event of a cancellation a $50+hst fee will be endured and you will be issued a credit towards a full session in the future. Payment fairly compensates for committing to providing the services, overhead charges, endured studio fees and turning down other potential clients. Switching date of mini session is not permitted.

When is a good time to book a Newborn session?
Ideal time to photograph a newborn session is between 5-10 days after baby’s arrival & up to 14 days old. Babies are more docile and are easier to move around, naturally they're used to being in the womb so you will get those curled up poses at this stage. Depending how well recovery is going for mommy, sometimes more time is needed and that's okay. If we missed the newborn stage we can always have poses of baby in mom & dad's arms, wrapped and in basket shots.
When is a good time to book a Maternity session?
It is ideal to book your maternity photo session at around 7-8 months of pregnancy. I've had women come to me at even 5-6 months pregnant. It really depends how well your bump is showing.
When will i get my photos?
Photo turnaround time is 7 business days.
Edit turnaround time is 7-21 business days.
Best photos from session are selected by photographer, however if you'd like to make a selection of your favourite images there is a 5 day grace period from time gallery has been delivered. If your list has not been obtained within the grace period the photographer can no longer honor your edits. Fees may be endured.
